EAST WINDOW
To the Glory of God and Sacred to the Memory of Thomas NORTON, Esquire/C. B. E. D. L. J. P. of Bagden
Hall. 1845-1933. Erected by his family.
The subject is the Ascension. Mary and the disciples form a semi-circular group. In the centre seven are
kneeling. An Angel in the sky at each side of the ascending Christ and a dove above his head. An Angel kneels at each bottom corner. 'While He blessed them He was parted from them'. This line is on a scroll
held at each end by kneeling Angels.
